Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Luci snoring is the cutest thing ever. I could watch her sleeping for hours on end...

Today's after work happiness was organizing all of our takeout menus in one binder grouped by genres...and creating a separate binder for all of our appliance/gadget manuals.

Tomorrow I will tackle the ethics exam! I swear.

It's a bummer that I can never really celebrate St. Patrick's day seeing as how it's R's most favorite holiday...why does it always fall on a weekday???

Isn't it funny how the simplest things in life make you the happiest? Today's happiness stemmed from getting glass jars to put pasta in. :)

The view out the window isn't the greatest...but I love that we have this cute window in the kitchen...it lets in quite a bit of light during the day too and a nice breeze when it's open. Annnnnnnnd I can finally put flowers in the window sill :)

I'm currently battling with the carpet...look at how dirty it is! (The place came like that...) If it weren't for the dirtiness, the carpet would be really nice and comfy. I think I will eventually replace it, but for now, it'll have to do. So I'm trying my best to get the dirt out with my little Bissell...

I went home for Thanksgiving (well, technically I'm still home, since I leave tomorrow morning and I am typing this from my room at my mom's home)...but we have been filling our bellies with delicious food left and right:


After only eating a yogurt during the day, this is what my Thanksgiving dinner plate looked like...I did not hold back!


Foie Gras...apparently it's from a special farm in France (in-law relatives are French) that's now closed, so this is one-of-a-kind...so I felt bad to say that it did not match my palate (but it really didn't):


Then we ate at Gaan the other night...a tiny hole-in-the wall sushi restaurant:

Oh yes, kobe beef sashimi...(although to be honest, I think the one we ate at Sushi Ota was much better):

Then my mother and I ate breakfast at Tango Contemporary Cafe, where I satisfied my craving for corned beef hash and potatoes (and coffee!!!):


Today for lunch we ate at Hank's Haute Dog, per my request. I had originally wanted to go there to try the lobster haute dog, but apparently it's a daily special that's only offered on FRIDAYS...darn. There's always next time!
